(Rescheduled from 01-31-26) | vs. Multiple Schools.. 2025 5B Scholastic Bowl Regional Tournament Date: Saturday January 31st, 2025 Place: Kecoughtan High School- Science Wing Time: First matches begin at 9:00 AM All seven teams from Region 5B will participate in the round-robin tournament. Matches will take place across three rooms each round with one team per round on “bye.” Participating teams must bring a working buzzer system to the tournament. Teams should plan to arrive by 8:15 AM. Students and coaches should be dropped off at the science wing entrance and meet in the atrium. Workers and coaches will meet at 8:45 AM and teams will be addressed before moving to their match locations. Matches will begin at 9:00 AM. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for workers and coaches. Please have the students bring a lunch. We will not be selling pizza this year. Eight Team Round Robin Schedule (estimated - match times may vary): 9:00-9:40: First Match Set 9:45-10:25: Second Match Set 10:30-11:10: Third Match Set 11:15-11:55: Fourth Match Set 12:00-12:45: Lunch Break 12:50-1:30: Fifth Match Set 1:35-2:05: Sixth Match Set 2:05-2:45: Seventh Match Set 3:00: Presentation of Awards The winner of the regional tournament will advance to the state tournament. |
